In Bagnoli di Sopra (PD), the Farming Days tour restarts, focusing on biogas, innovation, and sustainable agriculture
The Farming Days tour, promoted by CIB – the Italian Biogas Consortium – kicks off again in Bagnoli di Sopra (PD), making its first stop at an outstanding farm: the Dominio di Bagnoli. With 600 hectares under cultivation and a 998 kWe biogas plant powered by agricultural by-products, manure, and crop residues, the farm is a concrete example of circular economy and is preparing to convert to biomethane thanks to funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). The event focused on sustainability and innovation, including a session on digestate management machinery. Representatives from CIB, major agricultural organizations in Veneto, and Senator Luca De Carlo took part in the day. A key opportunity to showcase the “Biogasfattobene” model and its practical applications.
