In Spain, a roadmap to allow industries to become more competitive with cogeneration
Market and policy
In Spain, cogeneration helps save 14 million barrels of oil and 8 million tons of CO2. Moreover, 12% of the country’s electricity mix is produced by cogeneration, using nearly 25% of the natural gas demand.
