In its Industrial Decarbonisation Roadmap, the Advanced Manufacturing Office of the US Department of Energy (DOE), has dedicated a section to cogeneration and to how it can be implemented to reduce emissions, especially in the manufacturing industry characterised by a high heat demand. The Advanced Manufacturing Office is also engaged in numerous projects involving the mixture of multiple fuels in the cogeneration fuel mix, including hydrogen and biomethane.
