When it comes to innovative biogas/biomethane technologies, the European Biogas Association (EBA) is involved in several projects such as Biomethaverse, eQATOR and TITAN. The association, in fact, looks closely at both the technologies of gasification and production of e-methane (or synthetic methane) – as these are technologies almost ready to be placed on the market – and the technologies of production of biohydrogen and biomethanol from biogas. All these innovations will certainly contribute to increasing the production of biogas and biomethane in Europe, as Mieke Decorte, Technical and Project Manager at EBA, says.
