Iveco's sustainable roadmap: towards net emissions by 2040, also thanks to biomethane
Sustainable mobility
Iveco aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, focusing on three pillars: biomethane vehicles, electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles. In fact, decarbonisation will not be driven by a single solution, but by a mix of technologies. Biomethane remains one of the top priorities and in 2021 gas-powered lorries recorded an overall penetration of 4% of the total volume of the heavy-duty vehicle sector.
