Lublin Data Center: Energy Innovation and Heat Recovery
Industry and tertiary sector
During the FIVE NINES Data Center Summit, Wojciech Grzywnowicz, President of Grovis Energia, presented the Lublin Data Center project. The facility, with a planned capacity of approximately 50 MW, is designed to integrate with both the power grid and the local district heating network. Through cogeneration systems and advanced technologies, the data center will generate energy for its own operations while simultaneously recovering excess heat. The recovered thermal energy will be fed back into the city’s heating network using heat pumps and dedicated solutions. The project aims to achieve high reliability standards, with a Tier III classification and the potential for future expansion to Tier IV.
