MDC: a pioneer of biomethane projects in Brazil
Applications and technologies
Biomethane production in Brazil is still at an early stage. However, the market potential is huge, explains Manuela Kayath from MDC. MDC is one of the pioneering companies in the production of biomethane in Brazil. The company, founded in 2010, has been engaged in the development, implementation and management of biomethane projects from landfill waste or other biomass, as well as in the management of the marketing and distribution of biomethane. The company believes that biomethane can be the solution for the energy transition and that many industries can soon replace diesel or other fossil fuels with biomethane while reducing their emissions.
