Milan, Catalonia, Monaco: more biogas production thanks to compostable bags
Landfill and Waste
Compostable biowaste collection bags are dry, hygienic, odourless, and allow more household organic waste to be collected. In fact, pilot projects have shown how, in cities where they are widely used, they improve people’s awareness of how to recycle correctly. This translates into an increase in the amount of waste destined for biogas plants. Examples include Milan, the autonomous municipality of Catalonia and Monaco.
