MindFlex: a project for flexibility in Milan’s electricity grid
Energy efficiency and cogeneration
MindFlex is a pilot project by Unareti aimed at creating a true local market for flexibility services on Milan’s electricity grid. The idea is simple: as renewable energy sources and distributed generation increase, the grid becomes more complex to predict and manage. MindFlex allows plants and consumers to offer flexibility services - meaning they can adjust their energy production or consumption - to help the distribution system operator optimize the grid and manage the energy transition more efficiently. So where does cogeneration fit into this project? Let’s find out in this video.
