Philadelphia: huge savings for the Aria Health Hospital thanks to its 1.1 MW cogeneration plant
Case history
The need for a constant and high supply of electricity and heat, has led the Aria Health Hospital in Philadelphia to opt for self-production by installing a 1.1 MW cogeneration plant. The heat generated is used to heat the hospital’s rooms and produce hot water for domestic use, while the electricity produced allows a considerable saving on energy bills. An excellent result for the management, which expects to reach and exceed its goals.
