Mexico’s strategic position, on the border with the USA and with Texas in particular, where methane gas is produced at very low prices, allows the country to have privileged access to natural gas. This situation will favor Mexican manufacturing companies that can self-produce energy through cogeneration and be more competitive on the international market.
