Spain: cogeneration to meet energy efficiency goals

In Spain cogeneration is regulated by Royal Decree 413/2014, Law 24 and Royal Decree 616/2007. In addition, a plan has recently been launched to transpose the European Directive on energy efficiency, which aims to reduce energy consumption by 25%, into Spanish law. How much will cogeneration contribute to help meet this goal? Álvarez of Acogen tells us.
