Storage of biomethane for greater grid distribution flexibility
Applications and technologies
The Azola startup has designed buffer accumulators for the storage of biomethane in liquid form that guarantee grid supply according to the market demand. The storage of biomethane allows continuous production and greater flexibility of the system. Some pilot projects have already been tested and the aim is to manage and customise energy requests from the grid, maximising the intake of biomethane.
