Storing thermal energy for better performance of the CHP plant
Technologies and components
The possibility of storing thermal energy near a cogeneration plant is certainly a considerable advantage. The stored energy allows the cogenerator to operate constantly, even during any periods of low plant performance. A particular example of heat storage can be found at the Hotel Reylof in Ghent.
