The CODE2 project and the German roadmap
Market and policy
The objective of the CODE2 project, a European Union initiative to promote cogeneration technology, is to realise the potential for cogeneration in Europe, previously identified in CODE1, and to analyse the key markets of the sector as well as the regulatory framework of the same. What is the situation in Germany? More information is needed on the subject, electricity prices are low and the role of ESCOs has to be reinforced. Golbach considers these points.
