The CONUEE regulates the efficient use of energy in Mexico

The Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy, CONUEE, regulates the standardization of procedures for energy efficiency in Mexico through issuing official documents. According to the Commission, cogeneration is one of the technologies that will take Mexico forward in becoming an energy efficient country; it will provide a potential of 10,000 MW that will ensure low emissions and higher efficiency especially for energy-intensive industries.
