Dätwyler Pharma Packaging Italy knows that integrating economic sustainability with environmental sustainability is an important goal. This is precisely why Dätwyler chose cogeneration. Thanks to a 1200 kW trigeneration plant, the company, which operates in the chemical-rubber sector, is able to meet 70% of its electric, thermal and cooling energy needs. Given the price of energy in Italy, the use of this system enables an energy-intensive company like Dätwyler to be more competitive and, last but not least, to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions for a total of 867 t/year.
