The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) supports Poland’s green transition through projects in the energy sector, providing both financing and technical advice. In 2023, over €1 billion was earmarked for this very purpose. Regarding biomethane, although there have been no specific projects in Poland so far, EBRD makes funds available, such as InvestEU, to support future initiatives in this area, offering advantageous financing conditions for the most valuable projects.
