The European Commission approves FER II: what are the next steps for the Italian biogas sector?

The European Commission has approved the text of the FER II (Renewable Energy Decree), expected for more than seven years and aimed at encouraging the production of energy from renewable sources – other than wind and photovoltaic. The FER II is crucial to identify the allocation of future investments and to continue the path of biogas energy production, which could not be stopped now. There are still a few months before the actual publication of the Application Procedures, but the farms are already ready to deploy new plants!
