To add value to organic waste by transforming it into biomethane/RNG: projects and contributions in the Czech Republic
Applications and technologies
Energy recovery from organic waste is a good practice that all European countries should adopt. Among the countries with the highest potential there is also the Czech Republic, where over 2 million tons of biodegradable waste are produced every year. One of the most interesting projects for transforming waste into energy is that of the Rapotín Organic Energy Waste Recycling Centre (Rapotín ECR) which will be among the first to produce biomethane/RNG to inject into the network.
