USA: with the Inflation Reduction Act, $300 billion has been allocated to reducing emissions

In August 2022, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act, a $300 billion bill to reduce emissions in the USA. The measure provides for a 30% tax credit for 10-15 years for clean energy sources (including cogeneration) which, starting from 2025, will only be granted to carbon neutral technologies. Cogeneration can therefore access the incentive if the plants are powered with green fuels such as hydrogen and biomethane.
