Wastewater and waste biogas projects: which partners, collaborations and project delivery methods should you consider?
Industry and WWT
As we know, biogas also plays a strategic role in wastewater and waste management. Sewage sludge and waste can be transformed into biogas for the joint production of electricity and heat, or it can be converted into biomethane used as fuel for transport. The direct beneficiaries are often the municipalities served by the Utilities that handle these disposal processes.
Some time ago, in Athens, we discussed the need for greater awareness in the municipalities of the actors involved, collaborations and the different project delivery methods that should be taken into account to implement such projects.
