Recently, the Energy Services Operator - GSE issued the 4th PNRR (Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan) Call for Biomethane (which will close on August 2), which includes the adjustment of incentives for biomethane based on inflation detected between November 2021 and April 2024. The new tariffs for new and reconverted biomethane plants, calculated considering inflation and reduced by 2%, are: €128.39/MWh for plants with a production capacity of up to 100 Smc/h and €122.81/MWh for plants with a production capacity of more than 100 Smc/h.
