A.L.I.S., the present and future of logistics and sustainable Intermodality
Market and policy
A.L.I.S., the Logistics Association of Sustainable Intermodality, is a network of over 1,500 members including road haulage companies, shipping companies, railway companies, port authorities, freight forwarders, ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) and universities. A.L.I.S. has a widespread presence throughout Italy and boasts impressive numbers when it comes to maritime and rail connections and managed vehicles.
We met with members of the association a while back, to talk about the present and especially the future in sustainable transport and logistics, as well as to highlight, once again, the strategic role of alternative fuels such as biomethane/RNG.
