At Biogas Italy, Diana Lenzi, President of the Farming for Future Foundation, discussed how “well-done” agriculture can contribute to national sovereignty by ensuring food, energy, and resource security. The foundation, established to amplify the Italian Biogas Consortium’s message, is funding scientific research to assign economic value to digestate, a byproduct of anaerobic digestion.
