An award for the most efficient German hospitals
Industry and tertiary sector
For their continuous energy demand, hospital facilities appear to be the most suitable places to accommodate cogeneration. The simultaneous production of heat and electricity makes it possible to lower CO2 emissions by 16% with respect to separate production of the same. In order to promote this type of technology, a project has been started in Germany to honour the most efficient hospital.
