Anaerobic digestion and hygienic-sanitary state of the matrices
Anaerobic digestion
It has now also been established at a scientific level that anaerobic digestion significantly improves the hygienic-sanitary state of input matrices, both in conditions of thermophilia (temperature of 50-55 °C) and of mesophilia (temperature of 37-40 °C). Despite the widespread public concern, in the latter case the hygienic-sanitary state of livestock manure is also improved, considered the most contaminated matrix par excellence.
