Berlin’s refuse collection vehicles run on biomethane/RNG
Sustainable mobility
Refuse collection vehicles in Berlin, managed by the Berliner Stadtreinigung company (BSR), are powered by biomethane/RNG. Every day about 150 vehicles collect organic refuse in the city, taking it to a specific plant to be transformed into biomethane. A natural cycle that reduces CO2 emissions and perfectly fits the context of Berlin, the eco-friendly capital of Europe.
