Biogas from organic waste: the value of waste
Research
Food, agricultural and livestock residues are considered “waste”, but have a very high value as biomass for the production of biogas. Using these substances to generate a natural and renewable fuel, means intelligently managing their disposal, but also reducing the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere. The Department for International Trade of the British Government is responsible for supporting the biogas industry as a facilitator between various bodies and companies.
