Another edition of Biogas Italy has concluded, celebrating the role of agricultural biogas and biomethane in the energy transition and highlighting the importance of agriculture for energy security and independence. Thanks to the Italian Biogas Consortium and the many contributions over the two days, the path was outlined to fully harness the renewable gas potential by 2030 and strengthen the national supply chain. The event showed that policymakers recognize the positive impact of these technologies on the country’s development, emphasizing the need for transparency and dialogue with local communities for new projects.
