After a decline in the size of the sugar market, biomethane/RNG represents an excellent opportunity to re-energise the production chain. These are the words of the president of Confederazione Generale Bieticoltori (the general confederation of beet growers), which is actively committed to involving farmers in new projects related to this alternative fuel and which is supporting the sector's development using the expertise in biogas it has acquired over the years.
