Cogeneration applied to the meat industry: the new entrepreneurial vision of Inalca
Case history
Inalca, a company specialised in the processing of beef and pork, realised the importance of energy efficiency and the self-generation of energy. For this reason, a cogeneration plant was installed in 2007 with an electrical power of 1800 kW, which allows their production lines to make use of the steam and heat energy produced by the endothermic engine.
