Cogeneration is at home with ene.field project
Energy efficiency and cogeneration
The ene.field programme aims to develop fuel cell micro-cogeneration in the home. The project involves the installation of approximately 1,000 plants with an output of between 300W and 5kW, in private homes throughout Europe. For example, in Germany a first prototype has been set up with a family of 5 people, where more than half the energy the family needs is self-produced and where the estimated reduction to the energy bill is up to 40%.
