EBA Conference 2022: the industry is ready for the 35 bcm target of sustainable biomethane/RNG by 2030
The 2022 EBA Conference, held in Brussels, confirmed that the sector is ready to grow and produce at least 35 billion cubic metres of sustainable biomethane/RNG by 2030, as required by the RePowerEU plan. The sold-out edition brought more than 350 delegates and 50 high-level speakers, including Janusz Wojciechowski, the EU Commissioner for Agriculture, Diederik Samsom, the Head of Cabinet for Executive Vice-President of the EC, Frans Timmermans and the International Energy Agency.
