Energy mix to decarbonise the European building stock
Industry and tertiary sector
Decarbonising the European building stock is definitely a big challenge. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to look at different strategies depending on the type of building. The ideal would be to adopt a mix of available technologies, including fuel cell micro-cogeneration. As part of the PACE project experimentation, it has been noted that some consumers are already using a mix of fuel cells, heat pumps and photovoltaics.
