For Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), the objectives for 2025/2030 are clear: to decarbonise its fleet with all zero-emission vehicles. To date, electric buses, hydrogen and methane-powered – and soon also biomethane-powered – vehicles have already been integrated. In particular, we will start with a first bus that will be powered with the biomethane produced at a wastewater treatment plant.
