Global Biofuel Alliance: India’s role
Associations
The Global Biofuel Alliance is an alliance of 24 countries and 12 international organisations, created to promote the adoption of biofuels worldwide. Launched at the G20 Summit, it aims to overcome barriers and establish concrete regulatory frameworks to increase the global use of biofuels. India is part of this alliance and, with a long history in the biogas sector, in recent years is trying to boost the sector, with the goal of reaching 5000 plants by 2030.
