How to guarantee greater flexibility to the cogeneration plant with thermal storage
Technologies and components
Thanks to the use of thermal storage systems in combination with cogeneration plants, in case of peaks in energy or gas prices, it is possible to reduce or stop the production of energy while maintaining the production of the thermal vector, which is fundamental in many industrial production processes. José Luis Morán cites two examples where matching the two technologies was a winning combination.
