How will the spending review affect new district heating projects in the UK?

A study by the Department of Energy and Climate Change on Great Britain’s district heating potential, identified 180 projects in England and 100 in Scotland to develop in the coming years. Incentives have been cut down; however, the new spending review seems to encourage local authorities to invest in this direction. Whitehead analyses the situation.
