Latvia: introducing cogeneration from renewable energy sources

Currently in Latvia more than 50% of the energy produced comes from CHP systems and only 16% from biogas and biomass plants. The trend for the future? Encourage, with appropriate feed-in-tariffs, the construction of CHP plants powered by renewable sources.
