Poland: lack of regulation to develop the potential of 8-10 billion m3 of biomethane

Poland is a country where coal has always been used as a fuel and still struggles to be replaced with other less polluting sources. However, in order to become autonomous from Russia for the supply of gas and with the desire to start a process of decarbonisation, the country is focusing its efforts on biomethane. However, for greater dissemination at the national level, clear and favourable regulations would be needed, as well as an incentive system and renewed infrastructures.
