Predicting the outages of an anaerobic digestion plant and optimising its processes thanks to the Prodigio Project
Research
Prodigio is a European project based on the study of microalgae used as a matrix for the production of biogas in anaerobic digestion systems. Starting from tests carried out in the laboratory using specific mathematical models, it is possible to reproduce anaerobic digestion plant malfunctions in order to analyse the behaviour of microbiota and prevent any outages in the field.
