Seven French agricultural chambers, united in the REFLEX’CIVE Project for the correct management of CIVEs
Agriculture and breeding
Seven French agricultural chambers, led by the Regional Chamber of Agriculture of Brittany, have united to centralise the collection of data and information on intermediate energy crops (CIVEs), a sensitive topic for the biogas sector in France. The objective of this project – called REFLEX'CIVE – is not only to collect and disseminate existing data, but also to transfer the results of surveys or research on the subject in order to support farmers and consultants in the field. An important project for the proper management of CIVEs, so that they can guarantee the production of energy from biogas without threatening food security.
