Snapshot Survey 2016. According to the survey, adequate cogeneration policies are required in Europe
Associations
Market trends, developments regarding policies and prospects for the next five years. These issues were addressed in "Snapshot Survey 2016" conducted by Cogen Europe. The study found that the development of cogeneration in Europe has been affected in recent years by the economic crisis and that there is strong instability in governmental regulatory frameworks. It sees instead a positive trend for cogeneration from renewable sources and as applied to the commercial sector. Finally, we note that only the presence of stable and adequate CHP support policies will allow its continued growth.
