Not even freezing cold can put the brakes on biomethane/RNG! This was demonstrated by the podium achieved during the “The Ice Challenge Green”, the first Italian Alternative Energy Championship on ice held in Torino, on February 13 and 14, 2021. In fact, the event saw the Ecomotori Racing Team, with their 500 Abarth powered by biomethane, as the undisputed winners! The car, which participated in the event together with many other vehicles powered by alternative, hybrid or electric fuels, dominated all five of the competitions despite the rough and icy course. Biomethane/RNG was able to withstand the -18 degrees registered during the competition, once again confirming that alternative fuels are our special allies in every challenge, not only the environmental one!
