Mato Grosso do Sul aims to become carbon neutral by 2030, with biomethane at the center of the strategy to replace diesel. The state is promoting favorable legislation, attracting investments, and developing projects such as the “Corredor Azul” to transport decarbonized products.
The main challenges are financing, technological innovation, and price competitiveness, but the sector is already mature and ready to grow.
