The UK Department for Transport encourages biofuels
Sustainable mobility
Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO): the UK Department for Transport calculates that 9.75% of fuels in the transport sector must be from renewable sources by 2020, doubling the percentage of the previous period. The proposal also calls for greater attention to be paid to advanced biofuels. ADBA is working to include biomethane/RNG among these and to stabilize the price of certificates.
