The waste of 110,000 families produces biogas thanks to Renescience
Landfill and Waste
Did you know that 84% of rubbish produced by an average family could be recycled? All waste, including mixed urban solids, can become a valuable resource thanks to new technologies designed to produce renewable energy. Such as, for example, the Renescience project, which makes it possible to increase the yield of mixed solid waste for the anaerobic digestion process and to produce biogas. The first plant was launched in Northwich (UK) and processes 120,000 tons of waste per year, equivalent to the rubbish generated by 110,000 families.
