Visit to a biomethane/RNG plant with GRDF, GasNet and GD4S
Associations
Today, the role of biomethane in the European energy scenario is well-defined and, thanks to the objective of the REPowerEU plan to produce 35 billion cubic meters of biomethane, the technologies used to produce it must be well known and understood. This is precisely why GRDF, GasNet and GD4S have organized a visit to a production site in the Lille area (North of France).
The plant visited produces biomethane/RNG from agro-zootechnic waste and feeds it into the national GRDF network. The visit was also attended by Members of the European Parliament of the ITRE, ENVI and AGRI commissions and representatives of the European Commission.
