There are many aspects to consider and responsibilities to take on in developing and implementing a biomethane/RNG project. For this reason, multi-disciplinary working groups are useful to avoid complications in the construction of the plant. The range of professional areas involved is wide: from the gas equipment builders to the grid operators, the chemical analysis laboratories and the producers themselves. The success of this approach is clearly demonstrated in the biomethane project completed by HERA, the Italian multi-utility company.
